The homeowners in Caboolture wanted to make their outdoor patio usable year-round. Facing strong afternoon sun, insects, and harsh QLD heat, the space was often too hot and uncomfortable during peak daylight hours. They needed an outdoor blind solution that provided maximum heat and glare protection without completely blocking their view or closing off the natural breeze.
We supplied and installed custom Motorised Zipscreen Outdoor Blinds tailored specifically to the dimensions of the outdoor space.
Track-Guided Zipscreen System: The side-fastening zipscreen technology locks the fabric securely into side channels, creating a gap-free barrier that keeps out bugs, wind, and harsh weather.
Ricky Richards Outlook Mode Fabric: Selected for its exceptional durability and solar control, Outlook Mode is a premium heavy-duty mesh fabric. With a ~95% shade factor, it significantly reduces radiant heat and glare inside and outside the home while maintaining clear outward visibility.
Motorised Convenience: Equipped with an automated motor system, the homeowners can raise or lower the awnings effortlessly at the touch of a button on a remote control.
The new motorised Zipscreen awnings completely transformed the outdoor area into an insulated, private, and insect-free outdoor living room. The Caboolture homeowners can now enjoy entertaining outdoors in total comfort, even on the hottest Queensland summer afternoons.
Superior Sun & Heat Blockout: Outlook Mode fabric reduces heat transfer into adjacent living areas, helping lower indoor cooling costs.
Wind & Weather Resistance: Zipscreen’s side-locking mechanism prevents fabric flapping and holds strong against windy conditions.
Seamless Visibility: Micro-perforated mesh blocks harsh UV glare while allowing ambient light and breezes to pass through.
Sleek Modern Finish: Custom-matched hardware blends in with the home's existing architecture for clean curb appeal.
Fingertip Control: Smooth, quiet motorisation eliminates manual cranks or chains.
